I finally made a little time to do the compare test. But I was a bit rushed and was not really able to swap the 2 lenses to the 2 Camera Bodies. Instead I only had the 85mm f/1.8D Prime on the Nikon D80 and the 24-85mm f/2.8-4D Macro on the D300 body.
All 4 pair of the shots were taken at the Mozart’s Coffee Roasters on Christmas Day. I was really hoping / expecting the place to be way less crowded 😦

Dec 28th – Not sure I can call it a session, but I did take a few more pix this morning in front of the Apple Store at the Domain. My subject was the “trash can”. This time I did switch the 2 lenses onto the 2 cameras. The pix in the first / left col are taken with the 85mm and the ones in the second / right column are taken with the 24-85mm. The first row is the D80 and the second are the D300.
